About the CEO
As a former Naval Aviator, with the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed in El Toro California, I personally began to experience debt problems when I was discharged from the military in 1984. Those pressures continued to mount after I got married, had six children and the high cost of living in Southern California continued to go up.

With no place else to turn, and not wanting to file for bankruptcy, I began to contact my creditors one by one and to see if I could negotiate my debt down with each one of them.

After helping some of family and friends with similar debt problems, I started a small company called A Better Way. Today, that company has grown into Nationwide.

After 18 years we now serve 46 of the 50 states in the United States.
